On January 10 the Bank of New York on Huyler Street was robbed by a man who handed over a note to a teller alleging that he had a gun and

Telephone scam puts residents at risk for identify theft.

With the help of the South Hackensack Police Department, a Belford man was arrested by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office on Dec. 8 for having sexually explicit conversations with a teenage girl via the Internet. The 27-year-old construction worker was charged with attempted endangering the welfare of a child and attempted sexual assault.
