Advisory Base Flood Elevation Lookup Tool

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has created Advisory Base Flood Elevations (ABFEs) to show a more current picture of flood risk for certain communities in New Jersey and New York affected by Hurricane Sandy. Community officials, property owners, and others can use the ABFE information to understand where flood risk exists and to decide whether to build to higher elevations based on what has been learned from Sandy.

Property owners can understand where flood risk exists and decide whether to build to higher standards based on what has been learned from Hurricane Sandy.

Visit the Advisory Base Flood Elevation Toolkit for Property Owners web page to learn what information is available.

Use the What is My ABFE? address lookup tool to find out the Advisory Base Flood Elevation for your location quickly and easily.
