National Night Out Held on August 4
South Hackensack Police Department held their annual National Night Out on August 4, 2009. Police and residents gathered for a night of food, games, music, and community-spirit. A good time was had by all.
National Night Out was started in 1984 by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) to promote police-community partnerships, crime prevention, and neighborhood camaraderie. Since it’s beginning it has grown to include over 12,000 towns in all 50 states.
