The fire department received a grant from the 200 club for the purchase of the latest Respirator fit test machine. The respirator  fit test is required as a yearly requirement for all members who wear SCBA(self-contained breathing apparatus). The fire department and surrounding towns of the mutual aid will benefit by having the machine readily available. Having the machine will also reduce budget expenses since outside contractors will no longer be required to conduct the annual testing.
