South Hackensack Reorganization
The Township’s annual reorganization meeting was held on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the Municipal Complex at 12 noon.
Election Certificates were presented to James Anzevino and Walter Eckel Jr who both won re-election this past November. Senator Robert Gordon was present to Administer the Oath of Office to Eckel who was accompanied by his wife Mary Ann. Township Clerk Linda LoPiccolo then administered the Oath of Office to Anzevino, Deputy Mayor Gregorio Maceri, and Mayor Rosina Romano. Each were accompanied by members of their family.
Daniel Breslin was sworn in as the Township’s newest Police Officer followed by Robert Czarnecki who was hired as a police dispatcher. MaryTerraccino was then administered the Oath of Office to begin a 4-year term as Tax Collector. The oaths then concluded with Recreation Commissioner Salvatore Zito.
Then the members of the Township Committee each spoke thanking all in attendance for their support and looking forward to continuing to serve the residents of South Hackensack.
