Free Health Consultation Program
The Bergen County Department of Health Services offers a free Health Consultation Program in the Township of South Hackensack. Staffed by a Public Health Nurse, guidance and referral services are provided for health maintenance, as well as, encouragement on the benefits of healthy behavior. Monitoring of your health history, height, weight, and blood pressure is offered at each visit. Those with histories of chronic illnesses are encouraged to bring a list of current medication to their initial visit. Residents are assured that the complete confidentiality of your health information is of the utmost importance in this program. In addition, residents will be made aware of the many county and state programs that can assist them with their individual and family health promotion needs. Our goal is to help residents stay active and independent.
