Donations for the Troops in Iraq

VFW Post 8005 is kindly requesting the town’s assistance in collecting items for the troops in Iraq.  Donations will be sent to members of a Comabat Outpost called COP LOVE in Iraq. The unit consists of over 100 soldiers and their Captains is a local resident of Bergen County. The VFW is encouraging residents to take time to send notes or articles from the “Wish List” below to the troops to express your support and let them know that they are not forgotten.

Receptacles will be placed at Town Hall and the DPW garage.  All items should be new and in their original packaging. Items may be dropped off between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm daily. Please note that monetary donations cannot be accepted.
