Co-Mingled Recyclables

Curbside collection by First Occupational Recycling & Waste on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month (exception: Wednesday, December 26th, 2007)
Co-mingled aluminum/tin cans, plastic/glass soda bottles, and jars (rinsed clean, labels removed)
Place receptacles at curb no later than 7:00am on pick-up day.

Newspapers

Curbside collection by DPW on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month (Exception: Wed., Dec. 26th, 2007)
Place newspaper in paper bag or tied - no plastic bags, magazines or books
Place at curb no later than 7 a.m. on pick-up day

Appliances

Curbside collection by Ippolito Industries, Inc. on the 1st Wednesday of each month beginning October 3rd, 2007.

Refrigerators (remove doors), Air Conditioners, Washing Machines, Dryers, Dishwashers, Stoves, Microwave Ovens, Gym Equipment, Swing Sets (disassemble), and any other metal items
Place at curb no later than 7 a.m. on pick-up day

Hazardous Waste

Bergen County Utilities Authority (BCUA) sponsors several collections throughout the year for Bergen County residents.
