Co-Mingled Recyclables
Co-mingled glass, aluminum, tin food and beverage containers, plastic milk, soda, water, and detergent bottles -- rinsed clean, labels removed.
- Curbside collection on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month
- Place receptacles at curb no later than 7:00am on pick-up day.
Newspapers
Post consumer old newspaper (ONP), magazines, craft bags, telephone books,
paperboard, office paper, colored paper, computer paper, stationery, letterhead,
tablet sheets, tab cards, envelopes (with & without windows), file folders, NCR
paper, fax paper, calendars, junk mail, post-it notes, greeting cards, poly-laminated
paper beverage containers (orange juice containers) & copy paper including staples
& paper clips.
NO soiled paper, trash, plastic, metal, waxed paper, photographic paper, food
wrappings, tissues, napkins, paper towels, self-adhesive envelopes, carbon paper,
blueprint paper, Tyvek material or Mylar paper, construction paper, hard covered
books or chemical containers
- Curbside collection on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month
- Place in paper bags or tied - no plastic bags
- Place at curb no later than 7 a.m. on pick-up day
Appliances
Refrigerators (remove doors), Air Conditioners, Washing Machines, Dryers,
Dishwashers, Stoves, Microwave Ovens, Gym Equipment, Swing Sets
(disassemble), and any other metal items
- Curbside on the 1st Wednesday of each month
- Place at curb no later than 7 a.m. on pick-up day

- Bergen County Utilities Authority (BCUA) sponsors several collections throughout the year for Bergen County residents.
