Josephine "Jo" Baeli Remembered
It is with deepest regret that the South Hackensack Volunteer Ambulance Corps. announces the loss of one of our Life Members Josephine " Jo" Baeli, on April 1st. at the age of 77. The Officers and Members of the Corps. send our heart felt sympathies to the Baeli Family.
Surprise Retirement Held For The Cherubinis
On January 19th, 2008 the South Hackensack Volunteer Ambulance Corps held a surprise retirement dinner for Chief Michael Cherubini and Maureen Cherubini. Mike served the Corp for more than 35 years during which time he held every elected position. The past 10 years he held the position of Chief. Maureen served the Corp for 25 years and also held every position.
The event took place at Villa Roberto in Rochelle Park with over 100 people in attendance. Both Mike and Maureen were presented with awards and proclamations from the Township of South Hackensack and the City of Hackensack.
These two special people were the backbone of the Corps for many years. We, the members of the Corps, say Thank You. You will be deeply missed.
